Any of you guys running drag radials on the street? I've seen people talk about the difference between Mickey Tompson's, Nitto's and BF Goodrich. Anyone with any experience there?

I had a set of BF Gs on a Nova I had. They felt like any other tire to me. Didnt notice a huge amount of tread wear or anything out of the ordinary. Long burn outs tore them up pretty good though.

I have M/T drag radials on my Chevelle (275/40/17's) & they're awesome. My car used to fishtail all over the place & with the M/T's it hooks & hauls. Only bad part is... they're SCARY in the rain. Not too bad on the surface streets but on the freeway @ speed it'll make u're heart skip a beat! A new meaning to the heartbeat of America!

i used to run a set of Nitto DR's on my Lightning that i used to have. Like Tripper said, for dry weather they were great, if it rained, i took another vehicle. At elongated highway speeds there was a little travel. sometimes if it were hot out, or i was dumb and did a burnout, i would stick when launching at a light. made for some funny faces from the people around me when i would almost lift the front tires on a "stock" looking Lightning.
