Amy Winehouse, another talented person dead way too young. I don't want this to turn into a "she got what she asked for threads", just wanted to say that I liked a lot of her music and am sorry to see her end up this way.

She had a soulful voice and in a lot of respects was a modern day Janice Joplin. Strange, but they both died at 27.

If you haven't listened to any of her music, here is the one she won three Grammies for, Rehab. She wrote it and technically I love the way it came out, the way it is structured is riveting.

I personally liked a lot of her music, an amazing voice. She could have been so much more, given the time.

There was a long thread on another American forum about her, and I was shocked how many vindictive people came and abused the shyte out of her. Hard to beleive so many adults could be so pathetic about somebody dying. Truly immature and shameful.

Yep, people can be pretty insensitive and cruel sometimes. Problem with being that way is that life has a way of coming back and biting you in the butt so you get a taste of your own medicine.

She was someone's Daughter, and a great talent. Those are the important things.

They now say her death was foul play and violent. But I bet drugs were still involved.

Yes, she is now a member of the 27 Club. An inoordinate amout of musicians have died at the age of 27.

Jimmy Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones,Alan Wilson, Rudy Lewis, and on and on.

She was a talented but fragile person who was hell bent on destruction. I personally think she wanted to join the 27 club! That's a pretty elite crowd and I think she didn't see any other way out! Sad but predictable!
