Oh my. It makes you wonder how something that valuable just gets left around collecting dust. Over 4 million dollars worth of automobile........ collecting dust in a shed.

since this is a European car, and it reads kilometers instead of miles. Why do they say it has low "milage" not that it has low "kilage" ? I doubt "kilage" is a word, im just sayin.....

We've been using that stupid Metric System here in Canada since around 1976 and even we call it "mileage". Some old habits die hard. As fed up as I'm getting with this country, as soon as we have to start calling it "kilage" I'm moving to your place !!

Yeah, I hear yeh, pretty much the same thing here, K cars and Lada's don't fetch much. About a $1.79 if your lucky. Sniper :D

Hah hah hah !! My wife had a K-car a few years ago. We just had a discussion about it. I swear to God, she doesn't remember it, and it was only around 9 or 10 years ago !!!! And, to make matters worse, I had a Lada from 1983 to 1986 ! For those of you south of our border, a Lada is the biggest piece of garbage on 4 wheels. Russian built. Had every kind of problem with it. Horn stuck on two days after I bought it. Went through 5 wiper motors and 6 voltage regulators in less than 3 years. Popped the motor. Twice. Final straw was when the tranny support went and took the motor mounts with it and my drivetrain shifted sideways one night. Paid $3500 for it when it was 11 months old. Sold it 2 years and 9 months later for $100. Was damn glad to get it. Last I saw of it a guy who bought it for parts from the guy I sold it to was digging a hole behind his shop with a backhoe and was going to bury it !!!! I "blessed" it by having a whizz on the driver's door. Shoulda did more than that for all the grief it caused me.

Sorry to ramble on and hijack the thread..... now back to business...... that 4 million dollar car collecting dust in someone's garage still gives us all a little hope that somewhere out there is a forgotten '41 Willys, doesn't it ??
