Duel wheel set ups

Seein alot of these duel wheel set ups seems to be the rage..... so Question are alot of them just single wheel with some kind of bolt set up to add the extra wheel ,I know some are original set ups...so does that mean I should keep my duelly rear end just in case the yard is getting pretty full...D
