Back when coupes were a dime a dozen. How much would they go for today?

In the 50's the going rate for most old cars I bought was $ 25-$ 50. I would be sitting in class and a buddy would come up and tell me someone had a model a, 50 Ford, 38 Ford, etc for sale and they wanted $ 25 for it. They knew I was always looking for another toy. (Some things never change!:D) I wish I had just half of the neat old cars I ruined back then, not knowing what I was doing.

Where is that Time Machine when I need it? :)

A friend of mine has thrill show museum and has event posters all over the walls showing old cars being destroyed for entertainment. Very sad.

I raced NASCAR Street Stocks and Figure 8s in the 80s-90s. Destroyed plenty of 60and 70s Muscle cars doing that. People will look back 50 years from now and think the same thing.

Dad "reminded" me the other day of the fact that he GAVE AWAY a 2 dr 55 bel air body to a friend of his......they were gonna make a race car out of it:eek:

Yeah, I hear you. I used a 65 Mustang for a stock car. But I would still trade it for one of those coupes in a flash if I had the chance. ;)
