The car we just did had the front posts leaned back and then of course we had to section down the top of the doors so it all fit right during the chop.

Hope this helps

Where did you cut to keep the moulding curve correct, Sinner? I'm thinking more than that, but I also plan to chop and section heavy.

I borrowed this pic to play with and unfortunately don't know where I got it. Cool pic, but I've altered it. I also moved the B-post back some.

I'm not exactly sure of what the differences were, but in 1931 Ford had a sedan that people call a slant window. The windshield posts are laid back and it is different from other model a's in as much as it has no visor. It could be a Murray built body because the door window tops are rounded like a Murray.

I think it was transitioning into the soon to be released 32 Fords, which also had no visor and a laid back windshield. Another thing that leads me to believe they were Murrays is that Murray only built Fordor sedans for Ford, no coupes or tudor sedans.

For comparison, here is a 32 fordor sedan. Note how the windshield is similar to the 31 slant.

My rat rod is a 31 on slant window... There should be some close up of the side of the cowl with the post in my build thread if not i can get you a close up for you if needed.

No, no, no, no!!! I'm not talking factory slant, like the Murray. Sinner had the idea. I'm thinking about laying back the a-post on my 29. Even on salt flat 28-31's I've never seen a windscreen laid back.
