Funny thing is all the F100 sites I'm on are always pushing disk brake conversions.
Nice to know all those drums got someplace to go. :cool:
PS: I'm keeping the drums on my '65 F100 ;)

PSS: I'm down the road a piece from you in North Augusta. Been by Newberry many times on my way to Clover. Usually take the by-pass. ;)
 
Brake conversions

Yes drum brakes are alive and well. Speedway Motors is now carrying the book, and the response has been very positive. I wrote the book as I struggled with the conversion myself, and found that much of the information was just in peoples heads, but not to be found in one spot. Similiar to what Vern Tardell has done with the books on rebuilding the F100 steering boxes.

Drum brakes work well if they are put together properly and adjusted.
