Anyone using radius rods/hair pins; along with a front panhard bar, on their 53-56 F100 - instead of leaf's? I am thinking of doing this, along with air bags, on my 53 F250. I guess I could also go with Speedway's 2" or 3" dropped front axle? I like the idea of bags, so I could go lower than the factory stance, when the mood changes:D
I also plan on going 4 link; bags, panhard bar, in the rear - instead of the factory leafs.
Just wondering if anyone here has done this on an F100? I posted at the Ford-Trucks site, but had no takers. Just thinking out loud, before I start any work on the 53. I know the Speedway dropped front axle, along with slinging the axle over the leafs in the rear, would be the easiest way to get lower. I just like the adjust ability (hight) factor of bags.

Take out spring leaves until it sits as low as you're ever gonna want it, then put in the 'bags to lift it up to whatever height you can drive it at. That and a dropped axle is much cheaper, faster, and better than a suicide front end on a rig as heavy as your Effie.

R Pope,
Thanks for the reply! I totally forgot about removing some leafs :( I think that suggestion; along with the Speedway dropped axle, and bags - would be the ticket!!! Much thanks!!
