My wife and I are blessed. Our son has given us two grandsons, 11 and 17 yrs.
This morning our son came to visit us. Grandma ask how boys doing. Our son tells us that last night their house was full of kids. The 17 yr. old had 3 buddies stay over night. The 11 yr. had 2 friends stay over night.

Grannie ask, "how you feed that many kids"? Our son replies with a very serious look upon his face, "with a long pair of tongs and be sure to keep fingers away their mouths".

I had 3 kids, they could go through a big bag of chips, a couple gallons of milk & a dozen eggs in their sleep! Couldn't keep enough cereal in the house and they could demolish several pizzas in a heartbeat! Glad they're out on their own now!

With the boys grown and out of the house,

My food bills have been reduced by 2/3's or more....lol...but now the grandkids come over and I better have a bunch of goodies ready as they eat more than their Dad's ate... :D....it's a never ending circle....

My last wife had 9 kids when I married her, then we had one more. 7 boys from 3 to 15. Mealtime was so competitive and chaotic it gave me heartburn just to eat with them. Until I started messing with them and would cook like 2 extra of something and watch how fast they would wolf down their food to be the one to get seconds.lol.

Two times in my life that I thought I was gonna go broke, When my son was a baby he could go through more diapers and when he became a teen ate everything in sight. good luck.lol
