finally picked my truck gun

after much thought i kept coming back to either the sp-101 w/crimson trace grip .357mag
or my trusty S.A1911A1 G.I.
I went with the 1911 because i am very used to it
and my bride isnt .
so the wheelgun is her home protection weapon (along with the mossberg 12 gauge)
and this will live in the dodge.

I used to have that exact same gun. I was surprised how much it would jam empty shell casings. Maybe I was using cheap rounds. Loved shooting it, except for the jamming part. I have heard that .45's will jam more than smaller calibers, but mine seemed to be more than what I was expecting.

Russian Nagant pistol. I bought 2 of them online 2 years ago for $99 per. Sometimes Cabella's has them, around $129. Interesting design, the bullet is seated below the top of the cartridge which protrudes from the front of the cylinder so when you cock it the cylinder moves forward thus providing a tight gas seal between the cylinder and barrel. They are double action but the trigger pull is horrendous if you don't cock it.
I got some surplus ammo for cheap but it's corrosive. I also got 50 round boxes of PPU for about $23 a box. Here:

invented with round ball jacketed bullets in mind.
mine works good with hard cast lead.

I was just really surprised it happened in the church parking lot during a
funeral. No respect.
