Been lookin' for plates for my '28 Dodge Bros coupe build & finally scored a pair... yipppeee! Will start in ernest very shorty on the build & am really lookin' forward to it! Our DPS wants them in the original colors & in fairly decent shape & then I distress them after I get the ok from the man!

Maybe you should just paint them with watercolor paint. ;)
 
That is very cool, Bob. I guess you can run a front plate on the rear ? Is Tx a two plate State or do you guys just run one on the back ?

Tejas is a 2 plate state & I have both plates... front & rear! They have a book that has *every* plate made in Texas so you can't fake a number! Been lookin' for about 8 months to find a decent set that wouldn't break the bank!

Id love to get a plate for my truck , but dont know what year for sure it is ,, so.... I think its got several years threw on it ,, so who knows ..

Yeah those 28 Texas plates are pricey. I think a decent set was bringing $300+ when I left 10 years ago. Nice score.
