This post was y first mistake over at hamb. I've been thinking about sticking IRS in my 55 Merc. and I was eyeballing those disc brake irs setups in the later T-Birds at my local pic-a-part. Anyone out there mess around with these things ?

I can't help but i like the whole idea. Had a '56 myself.

I'm not sure on the T-bird irs. I've heard them discussed and seem to have an impression there was some negatives. Jags are cheap, I'd be more inclined to look into one of those and lots of aftermarket stuff for them.
