I just saw a thread on another forum about a member of the Poor Boys club who was either broadsided or hit from behind in a traffic accident the other day. His name is Myron Boloyan Jr. and was driving a model A speedster when it happened. It sounds like he is in bad shape, they have him in a coma to keep brain swelling down.

There were two accounts of the wreck, both said he had the green light, but one account said the girl that hit him ran a redlight and broadsided him at 60-65 mph in a 35 zone. The other account is that he started out from the light and she was gabbing on her cell phone and rear ended him.

So sorry to hear of something like this, and I know all of our prayers will go out for him and his family. Sure hope he is ok. Here is a picture of the model A in case any of you saw it at Daytona.

Don,I also saw that.He was broadsided on the passenger door.I think it was in that car. From what I know he still in a coma.I hope he pulls out of it.That was a father and son build.

Our prayers go out to him and his family. :)

A few years back, a very cool Model A was tooling down the freeway when a Toyota Camry passed him on the right. The Toyota clipped his right rear tire (fenderless) and caused the Model A to flip at 65-70 mph. The driver in the Toyota took off. Fortunately, other drivers chased the Toyota down. The guy in the Model A had his daughter with him. I heard they were wearing seatbelts and came out ok. The Toyota driver was female.

Sad to hear. These tradgedys are always a good time to remind ourselves to be totally aware of our surroundings at all times. People who ride motorcycles mostly know this. You just have to drive for everyone on the road, expect every car to pull out in front of you, constantly watch the mirror, be totally aware of everything within a 300 foot circle all the time, it may save your life someday.

This is a tragedy to that entire family. I pray that he pulls through. I saw the car at TRR but I didn't get a chance to meet the Boloyans. Here's a pic of the speedster I took there.

Hate to bring this news, but I saw this on another site. This is being talked about on all the forums tonight....Such a shame. My thoughts and prayers go out to Myron and his family.

Re: Florida Poor-Boy in a Coma by a person running a red light !

Well, not good news,...they had put Myron on life support in an attempt to regulate his breathing, and try and control his heart rate, to help with the coma to reduce the brain swelling,...after a CAT scan this morning, the doctor reported no brain activity, and the start of kidney failure, so the family has made a decision to unhook him from life support...

Decision to pull the plug...

I hope I never have to make that kind of decision, his family needs our prayers now, especially at this time of the year. Future Holidays will always have a painful reminder. God Bless him and is family.

Oh my God, that is horrible. There are just no words to say at a time like this. Very depressing for sure. My best wishes to his family and friends. I couldn't even begin to put myself in their shoes.......they must be devastated. :(:(

thats sad, i don't know him personally but my heart goes out to his family and friends. my prayers are with them. thanks for letting us know ron.

All of us Tampa Poor Boys are deeply saddened by this horrific wreck. Myron's a great guy and it appears we may lose him. We can only pray that the lord has a change of heart and lets him survive. Please say a prayer for him and his family. Mike

Mike, please pass along to everyone close to him that we are all still hopeful and are so very upset by this tragedy. So senseless and preventable.

If the accounts about that girl running the red light are correct, I hope they throw the book at her. Her lack of consideration for other motorists has caused irreversible harm to him and his family. For what, so she wouldn't have to sit through one light change??

It amazes me every time I drive how often people go through absolutely red lights........not just changing from yellow to red, or just turned red, but red for quite a few seconds. I have seen police cars sitting there when they did it and the cop doesn't do a d*** thing. If they would start handing out expensive fines these people might think twice the next time.

And don't even get me started on cell phones and driving at the same time.

Please keep us updated on his condition.

Don
