Ford Door Latch Question

Alright, i have searched the internet till i am blue in the face on this, but from looking at the attached images, am i missing a spring at the inside cab handle location and is the spring broken on the actual latch side? I just can't find an image or diagram of the actual latch mechanism. I hope my images are okay for viewing, my camera is having issues with focusing.
