ok guys and gals.
im heading to the old school junk yard tomorrow. as i have torn into my olds axle to find some problems and i dont want to invest into when i could go cheaper the other way.
they have a bunch of axles on the ground with spindles and what not.
ive been searching around and found the 28-31 model a axles are 1 style.
the 33-36, 37-41, 46-48 are about the same and the 46-47, 48-52 pickup are about the same. i want to stick with the car axle as it has the hair pin/ radius rod set up.
is there any way for me to tell if this one might be from 19?? to 19?? ?
for the price of king pins for my olds axle, i can buy a complete ford and get new king pins to match and be ahead of the game. plus i got that all important disk brake conversion set up on the easy.
