What should I do with it? Save the ends and try to roll a new tank for them? Patch it up and hid a new tank, battery and toolbox inside? Make storage out of it? Throw it back in the pasture where I found it an let it return to being a mouse condo?

Those ends are too cool not to do something with them..

I would try to roll a new tank, even if you do a whole tank and tack those on the end so it looks like those are the real ends

Maybe I'm not adventurous, but mouse condo seems to be what I would do. :D However, the ends ARE cool, so if you feel up to the task, we want lots of how to pictures. :)

I think I would cut the ends off of it and chuck the rest. Then I would use the ends for wall hangers until I developed a better use for them.

Same here, keep those cool ends. Chunk the rest. You could spot weld the ends onto an existing tank at some point or build a grill around the panel. Who knows, keep around where you can see it and it will come to you.

I would have a buddy who has a sheet metal roller do up a rough shape (or two pieces) bceause I dont have those tools and then re-build a tank out of it.
defenitly worth saving those ends IMOP

I would cut the signs out and weld one on each door of my rat then pinstripe around it to make it look like a shop truck sign. I think its a cool part and would not trash it, you my never see anuther like it. randy

i know where at least 6 of those tanks are......with complete farm tractors attatched to them, lol.

How about here?

I had a real nice one a few years ago, just had the Ford oval and I think it said Dearborn, but didn't say fordson.
Thanks for all the good suggestions. I think they would make some great patch panels too. I also have a Fordson toolbox that I may use as a consol in my rod.

VERY VERY COOL...

I'm with everyone else keep the ends and a use will come to you - if you are a clever fabricator use them on a new tank if not the "use them on door and pinstripe round 'em" is also a great option.
