Frame serial#

Hey so I am wondering? I have a model plate inside my cab with the frame serial# stamped on it. Is that number any good? Will it be able to get me a title? I am just weighing out my options here. The number is just a 4 digit # so I really dont think it will be good for anything. Would any of the other #'s be anything?

Well from doing a little research I notice that the 4 digit # can not be the vin # So now im not too sure where to go from here. Any ideas?
