Vintage cars deserve a vintage garage. My neighbor built a new one and gave me this, only 1/2 mile move. But it took me a week to get it all braced, jacked up and on the trailer ready to roll. All the sill plates were rotted away and the walls flopped like cardboard.

Nice!! Is it big enough to squeeze to cars into?

It's about 18 wide and 20 long inside, 2 cars should fit. But I think I'm going to keep one big bay for a winter project and the rest tools and storage for parts. I will keep the one bay clear in the summer so I can dive a car in if there is a hailstorm coming. The rpu still resides in the one next to it.

Free is good....!!

Looks like you did a good job of bracing it up...it arrived intact.... WB3...did you steal the trailer from Billy?...[S

My nephew bought it from Billy.
The doors roll on a track down the inside walls. Eventually it will have one roll up door and a walk in. They are pretty cool but you can't use the wall space.

You can't beat a deal like that. I like your hauling technique too.
Nice little shop.

I recognize the trailer for sure. My dad bought it brand new way back when. We used and abused it a lot of years. When Dad passed away I bought it from my mother and used it for another 4 or 5years then sold it to Billy. I even delivered it to Billy with his old rat rod and a bunch of his household items to him when he moved from Albuquerque.

Being in the heavy equipment repair business, that old trailer has hauled lots of tonnage over the years.

What did you pull it with? My truck is about as low as you can get and it still pulls at least a foot high in the front.

We always used 1 tons with a flat bed that had a recessed box for the ball.
I've pulled that old trailer lots of miles.

As you can see my bed is pretty low. I removed the mounting blocks necessitating the wheel cutouts in the flatbed sides and The ball is also recessed to truck frame height and that trailer still pulls really high in the front. I've put a couple hundred miles on it and it pulls ok, just on quite an uphill slant. I think my nephew is going to whack the hitch and put an adjustable one on. Most trucks in this country are 4x4, I'm one of the only oddballs with a 2wd
