I take it you are talking about two parallel leaf springs, one on either side of the car? If so, all you have to do is create some sort of pad on the bottom side of the axle so it has someplace flat to sit down on, weld that on, then get some U bolts that go over the axle and pass down through another flat plate that registers on the bottom of the springs.

The downside of doing it this way is that the threaded parts of the U bolts and the nuts can end up very close to the ground, depending on axle drop and tire size. You don't want them so low that if you blow a tire that part digs into the ground first.

Like Don said, scrub line often becomes an issue in such attempts. Not to mention frame and oil pan clearance. You also have to get the proper caster back into the axle. Much more feasible to go with a dropped axle or similar route.

I take it, it for the 63 Ford frame. There use to be a kit out there for that years ago. I can not remember who made it

It was a bracket that cradled the axle and went up against the bottom of the bolt flange on the axle. The u bolts went around the spring and up through the bolt holes in the axle. The u bolt held everything together.

There was also shims with the kit to get the right angle for the caster.
