front end question

I am building a 28 ford model a. I bought a complete 42 ford frontend from a swap meet. my question is will it bolt up?

how many tools in your toolbox and what do you want it to look like, wider, spring ahead not over.................and on and on

Save the spindles, brakes, and wishbone. Get an earlier axle (28-34) cut the wishbone in half so it is two pieces, cut off the spring mounts on the front of each piece of wishbone, then get the proper perches and spring from someone like Speedway. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and headaches by doing it this way and you can sell the axle and spring to someone with later model Ford.

If you use this axle assembly as is your wheelbase will be 6 inches too short and will not look good.
