For all the money, time, talent and technology poured into alternative automobile power plants the good old internal combustion engine still rules![cl The engineers keep making IC engines better and better, which makes it hard for alternative power plants to supplant them. It's hard to beat 30MPG and 200,000 miles of troublefree operation, which is pretty common nowdays.
