Gasser issue!

Be sure to check out the new Hot Rod Delux on stands now. There's a family that has 7 Willys & some famous gassers at it! Nothin' like a bitchin' Willys gasser comin' off the line wheels high!!! Sweet!

I just looked in the store the day before yesterday and they still had the older issue. I'll have to check into it. I like gassers. I think I know of the "Willys Family" that you are talking about.

An excellent issue. I helped build and run a C/Gas Willys in the 60's that ran against Hill & Pork Zartman at the Nationals in Indy. I think they were part of the S&S speed shop gang back then, which was tied in to Dave Hale. Tom Timoszyk's first Willys (in the mag story) was Dave Hale's car. My friend Al Tschida is almost done building a replica of his C/Gas Willys. I'll get and post some pics when he unveils it. I'm pretty sure he's taking it to the Thompson Gasser deal.

Haven't seen the new issue but...

I just got that issue last weekend. Loved those Willys. I haved loved those since I made the Stone Woods Cook Swindler A model when I was a kid.
