Going to Bristol

We're off to Tennessee tomorrow to go to Bristol for the NASCAR races. Should be fun. We fly into Nashville so we can meet my buddy Thunder1 aka Pat. Always nice to meet some of the folks I've meet on these forums. Wished I could meet more.

Well any way I'll have some pictures when I get back. Also going to DC to visit some family and to say Hello to Barrack and Michelle!

That looks like a great trip. I'd like to see a race at Bristol sometime, too.

I also may be heading to Tennessee next week...nothing fun though. Looking into helping the TVA to clean up the coal fly ash spill near Kingston that happened in December. What a MESS!!

Bristol is a cool place to go see a big event.
1/2 mile track that seats 130,000, 38degrees of banking......O-yeah...too much fun.

I've wanted to see Bristol for years. I'll have to pictures for y'all. Thunder! is coming over in a few and I'll be stopping at Clippers shop in VA after the race.

I live a little over an hour from Bristol. I have raced and watched NHRA at the drag strip many times but never been to a nascar race, I have driven on the round track though . Have fun and watch out for the alcohal consumers, they run amuck there.

Got a chance to meet and spend some time with Thunder1 and his family in Nashville. Had a great time with them.

Spent the last to days watching the races at Bristol.

Tomorrow we are headed through Virginia and hope to stop at Clipper's shop and see his amazing work.

I will have pictures when I get back home.

Stopped by and got to meet Clipper aka Dave in VA today. He gave me a tour of the race shop he works at, I got to see the "Stude with Attitude", and his shop, projects, his amazing collection of future projects and parts. Thanks again Dave for the tour and the t-shirts.
