when i married my darling bride
i automatically became a grandpa
I have mixed emotions on Aiden going home after 2 weeks with us.
on the one hand he is a nice kid and i like teaching him guy stuff
on the other
he is 5 and i am too old for this **** 24-7!

he is right on the edge of being a really fun partner in crime.

just a little bit older and it'll be time to show him how to drive a stick ,shoot a 12 gauge, play with firecrackers. you know? all those skills a metropolitan kinda guy simply cant live without. [cl

i did take him to the range
and while i judge him as still a bit too young to shoot
he sure digs it when i break out the big bore wheel guns and knock the snot out of some steel targets!

I'll be glad when my grandson gets a little older, too. He's 1 1/2 right now, and will run you ragged trying to keep up with him! After a weekend with us, we have to rest a couple of days to get back to normal!

it gets easier when they stop crappin and can speak and understand english:D
but as i learned with my nephews
about 6 is the perfect age to start teaching them guy stuff.

I can't wait till the grandkids come... & I can't wait till they leave. MY daughter has 3 kids & they are a *real* handfull... no wonder she's worn out most of the time! They're like a tornado when they come & go! Glad I don't have to deal with them on a regular basis!:eek::eek:
