Im 6'5, 250lbs, not bad looking but no supermodel either. this week two things happened that really worked me over.

I was working on a garage door for a guy, and I climbed into the back of ab isuzu pickup. The shocks were bad. It sank to the frame. The guy looked at me and said "What do you expect, its only rated for 1000lbs".

A woman told me I was very attractive. I blushed and said thank you, what makes me attractive to you. She replied with "cause looks dont matter to me"

I agree with English Bob. 250LB? - it wasn't a real truck.

As far as I'm concerned men weren't made to look pretty.

I dont waste my time worrying about what people say,its all about being happy with who you are and the people that matter like you the way you are.

Only 250 lbs? That's not even a real truck. Hell, i can carry more than that in the trunk of my '56 Chevy.

Sorry to kick you when you are so down RMG but your spelling isn't so good either (esteem)....:D:D

But confusingly they often seem to be mesmerized by chumps???

Were still basically the same animals we were a million years ago.

If you think about it, the screwy ways we act are usually relate-able to our ancient instincts. Women attracted to brutes, men trying to outshine the next guy to get the girl.... it hasn't changed a bit.

I would have just laugh at them and said.

To the Guy. I guess then when you go out with the wife/girl friend You got to keep this at home. Then just smile with teeth showing. :D

To the woman that said " Cause looks don't matter to me. I would say. "I can see why". bark like a dog, then raise my beer in the air and walk away.

Don't let people get you down. just look them in the face a say what you feel. Man does that catch them all guard.

Coating it with sugar is for cereal, not people.

Rev,
Feel free to use my favorite comeback, HEY BITE ME! I've found this works very well for me, good luck! [ddd

Absolutely true. That is why women are attracted to money so much. It comes from the primative urge to have a man who takes care of them. In primative times, when a man lost the ability to keep his woman she moved on to a guy who could............nothing has changed, except then they were interested in food, now it is money. :D

I lost my esteem when I was 5 years old. Whenever my mother introduced my brother and I, she would point to my older brother and say, "He's the first born. He's the good looking one". Then she would point at me and say, "He's the second". All through grammar school, I prayed that I would wake up and look like someone else. Eventually, I quit caring. Then when I started Junior High School, I saw the most beautiful girl in class. Thinking she would never like someone like me, I wouldn't talk to her, even when she would say hello. At a school dance, her friends came over and said she wanted to dance with me. I thought the were teasing me so I said no. They grabbed me to take me over to her so I broke free and jumped out of a window. It was after High School and she had gone away to college, I asked one of her friends if it was true, she wanted to dance with me. She said yes, she really liked you.

Now my first day of college, I saw the most beautiful girl in the world but she was talking to 3 guys. I figure I didn't have a chance so I never talked to her. After college, 15 years go by and guess what, now we're married.

I still think I'm ugly, but my wife loves me and no one else matters.

When I was in grade school at a dance I had asked a girl to dance and she had said no, without skipping a beat I replied "dance? I said you look fat in those pants". Made me feel better, probbaly didnt do much for her self esteem.

I also am one of those ugly buggars with a good looking Mrs. She don't seem to mind so neither do I. I got to the point at a very young age, you can say what you like about me, it's not liable to change anything about me now, just don't be ****ed when I shoot something back at you that you may not like.
