I have a set of the Chassis Engineering motor mount cushions(biscuits) ordered for putting the 302 in the Camaro subframe in my '56 Ford. Have any of you used these? If so, what is the diameter of the through-bolt? I want to get my mounts built and drilled while I'm waiting for the cushions. Thanks in advance for any help!:D

Never used them! I used rollers from a boat trailer I bought at a boat store! They're about a foot long & have a hole in the middle! I cut them to size with my chop saw! Cheap... about 50 cents for each one! I like the fact you can cut the height to your need. I cut mine 3/4" higher in the back to give my cab that lil extra rake!

Thanks for the tips, but I had already ordered the mounts. I finally found a thread that said the bolt is 7/16" diameter, so I can get the plates drilled and ready to install.

From what I've seen, I don't believe the CE mounts have the step....it appears in the pictures that they have a metal retainer cup that fits the 7/16" bolt. We'll see when they get here. :)

I need to apologize to Ol Blue...... I did need to make the 1 1/4" hole in the frame mount. I got everything fabbed up and tacked/bolted in yesterday.
