Help ID this roadster + My dads hot rod pics from '66

My dad has had this in my Grandpas barn since he was sixteen years old. He picked it up from a junkyard in Biloxi, MS off of Pops Ferry Road. He never knew what it was and tried to mate it to a Model A cowl he had. Here are some pictures of him and the hot rod in 1966. He ended up putting the roadster back half into the barn where it sat until my Grandma passed away right after hurricane Katrina. What is it??? That hole in the side is factory, we believe it is some sort of luggage door or for golf clubs. Thanks for any help

That body looks buick or caddy. Those are the only ones that come to mind that had the "Golf Club Door"opening.Thats what that square hole is.It also could of been Olds. This is a 32 olds roadster with the door. That was a higher end car in its day.
