Hi Ratchet and welcome to RRR from northern Alberta. The guys talk about putting a Nova rearend under lots of things and I bought a project '50 Ford coupe with about a '74 Nova rear. It is almost too wide especially with fancy wheels, but if I put stock old steel wheels and P195 tires on there it'll be just fine. My car is going to be a tail dragger with fender skirts so the plainness of the wheels doesn't matter.
Keep on tinkering.
