Hello everyone! New to the forum. Always owned muscle cars, but really like Rat Rods. I have been to many car shows and meets and have seen quite a few. Just curious what constitutes a Rat Rod? Thinking about a project with a 1972 Olds Cutlass. Thoughts?

Welcome to the site!!!

Thats a hard question and you'll get a different answer from each person you ask. But for me, (and I'm NOT, the Rat Rod police). A R/R has to be old, hence the "Rod", .
But there are lot's of people out there who don't see it the way I do, and thats OK with me.
BTW I do like the 70's Olds cars, very cool!!

Welcome from another fairly new guy. It think the whole Rat thing is more about attitude than anything. Myself, I prefer them to be pre-war but there are a lot of builds out there with the Rat feel and attitude that do not fit into any other category. My other build is of that nature, it's not pre-war, it's not resto-rod, it's not street rod or pro-touring. It's just weird!

Welcome to RRR!

Rat Rod is just a couple of words strung together. How about some pics and we'll go from there.
