I didn't want to highjack Gastricks thread since he did such great job with that tank hold down (he deserves all the accolades he gets for that work).

When I saw your comment about the trailer for your Crosly I had to throw the pics up. No it's not mine, but it does belong to a friend and fellow member if the "Wheels of Time" car club. Chuck is a Crosley crazy person. In addition to the "rail" he has a bunch of other Crosleys and parts..>He even had a Crosley Fire Truck (wish I had pics of that one).

For those that missed them here are the pics of the Bada$$ Crosley rail

I was just looking and can't find it right now, but I will find and post pics of his Crosly "Custom" and some of the other stuff he has.

I like the idea of 8 cylinders powering a race car, but you have to love what 44 Cubic Inches can look like

Ron, I don't mind if you hijack my thread. It was really a "what did you get done this weekend" thread anyway.

That Crosley dragster is cool. I'd like to see pics of his other Crosleys.

Here's a couple of Crosley powered dragsters from way back.

Gastrick, I felt like I jumped in your thread even though I saw that you were asking what other guys had done over the weekend. The tank strap you made is a work of art and people were commenting about your fine work. It was not the right time to throw a pic of my blacksmith work in there. It made it confusing when other people got on later to comment about your work.

Ron, It always amazes me when guys like your friend build something completely unique rather than following a formula for winning. They are really what the sport is about. I don't like using a sbc because darn near everything that can be tried has been tried. You simply build an engine to a given recipe. I think my next drag project will have a slant six in it.
