Hi mud_duck and welcome to RRR from northern Alberta. I know what you mean about cutting up something your whole heart is in. It's hard to do. By the time I got most of the body work done on my '36 I couldn't leave the different coloured tin still showing,[John Deere green, Minneapolis-Moline yellow, and Co-op Implements lime green]. I had to body fill, prime and paint it. The guys here don't mind, as long as you're building something, AND posting pictures.
Keep on tinkering.
