On my 47 theres some rough looking welds on the firewall. Im not this anal but they look bad enough for me to want to smooth them out a bit. IF I get to the point where I want to use some filler, is there a high temp filler or is it not realy an issue?

Didnt think that one through very well did I?[S Yeah you would think if paint holds up filler should too.

there are epoxi fillers they use on boats, can be build up a lot thicker and probably more heat resistant, being epoxi based.

If you really need a filler that will handle higher temps use All-Metal. I use it alot on parts that I powdercoat and never had a problem. (400 degrees, not for headers)........ruggs
