Figured I would start my own build thread and get out of the new members thread. Constantly adding something new or crazy. Currently working on recovering my front seat Hillbilly style !!

I found some really cool old can labels on Ebay from the 40s or 50s. that had never been used. It's all in the details !!

I found the surf dude in Daytona Beach while at the Turkey Rod Run. I made the wave to mount him to the hood. I have seen him on the internet once before, but did not order it. If I can find the web site I will send you some info.

I hear ya man! Mrs. Moron and I like it so much the countertops in our house are chevy orange! DuPont Corian Mandarin to be specific. Wakes you up in the morning with a big slap in the face!

Chevy Orange counter tops! man that would be awesome!. I do have to agree though it is a great color.

Thanks fellow Rat Dudes !!! While waitong on my sacks to come from Ebay, I worked on another project. I had never really finished my door logos, reconize the pic ??? Old Mountain Dew bottle logo ! I am real happy with them. Also added a phone number to the quarters, BR-51, which is a correct type number for my area in the 50's. Maybe I have been sniffing burlap too long ????

Kool graphics hillbilly! The hunter and surfing theme reminds me of that goofy old Val Kilmer movie "Top Secret" where they go "skeet surfin"...shooting shotguns at skeets while surfing.

Finally got the front seat put back together. Along with new front brake hoses and a caliper. Almost ready to head to the Grand Run in Pigeon Forge this weekend.

Moonshine Rod Run

Here is a couple of pics of the Moonshine Rod Run in Newport ,Tennessee. The show was pre-1958 with about 530 entries and out of that group ,I won "Peoples Choice" !! I was so surprised and stoked !! The Hard Times Street Rod club put this show on, super nice guys and well organized show.

Nice interior choice!
As you can see, we were on kinda the same page with material!!

I used old tater sacks that I found in an old warehouse in town. Used on the headliner, doors and kick panels.
