I am building a car and dont have all the "historical documents" I need and its bugging me so I start looking for them. I post a request ...... nothing. I do a search on the HAMB .... nothing. I private message all the people that deal in "historical documents" ..... they respond .... no luck.

Then , months later, I get a private message asking if I was still looking for "historical documents" for a 38 Fiat Topolino and of course I was super excited to find it.

It turns out that the guy bought the car 45 years ago and used the body on a racecar and put the document in a drawer. He found it the other day and checked the hamb and found my old post and contacted me.

He paid $75 for the car.
I gave him $100 for the document.
It was his first post.

Anyone looking for titles should check Hemmings. I always see titles for sale. However, be advised that in California, out of state titles or titles no longer in the system will require a vin verification. This means having the car inspected.
