hey guys i have heard that they make spacers that make these wheels fit my 1948 ford truck hubs, i seem some pics somewhere, looks like little rings that keep the wheels from wobbling! THANKS RTD

If you are sure you have '48 truck hubs and drums the Ford wires will not fit on them. The spacer that is shown in the link is for '40-'48 passenger car and '40-'47 truck hubs. It simply helps them seat properly on the earlier "basket" style drum. The '48 truck was the first year for the F-1 which has a more modern flat-faced drum. Unfortunately it is a totally different design and will not work with the wire wheels...
