There's a TV show on "How It's Made" right now about how they make engine blocks. It's pretty kool & done mainly done by robots! In that same episode there's another one showing how a van body is made by welding robots! Be sure to ck it out!!!

Remember the old adage, buy a car that was built at the beginning of the week, not at the end of the week. With robots, guess it doesn't apply anymore. Ever hear, see or know of a "freak car" that was built at the beginning of the week?

Ive always heard to buy a car that was built on wednesday. Monday the cars suck cause they are just getting back from the weekend and still hungover. Tuesdays are sorta ok, same as thursdays. Fridays cars suck cause everyone is in a rush for the weekend and just do half jobs.

I've heard that wednesday one too :D

But the best I heard was when I was in NZ in the 80's - a customer brought his year old Honda back and demanded a replacement... seems he spilled something in it and lifted the carpet to help dry them out and found swear words written in weld on the floor in Samoan...and as it would happen he could read Samoan

Aparently a p***** O** employee was having a bad day and vented his frustration,it went all down the line with everyone having a giggle and no one told the quality control guys, needless to say brown stuff hit fan at the plant after... oh and yes he did get a brand new car:D

That was the saying for a while, but most plants were on a 7 day 16 hour rotating shift schedule.

Just think if you get a ****ed off programmer. You might get a robot like Binder:eek:
