How would this look?

I want something to cover my new wiring harness and ran across this on eBay

I don't want the new style plastic loom, I think it looks out of place on a pre 70's car. Only problem I see is threading the wires through this as it's not the split style.

I would think it would look alright. A lot better then plastic.

I used it on my truck. I like it but you lose access to the wires although I doubt much would happen with it protected like that & both colors fade pretty quickly in the sun so I spray them with black. It does give you a tidy look though!

Mine will all be under the hood, so no sun fading problems. I might just go ahead and try it. I agree, looks a lot better than the plastic.....

Companies such as Painless and others now have that style of loom in split loom. It is expensive but looks great and still gives you access.

Have a look at their "Classic Braid" product, it's probably most like what you want. Their Powerbraid is similar but a little more modern looking.

Keep it Clean Wiring has a similar product they call Ultra Wrap available in a split design too.
