anyone have hydraulic windows in there ride, i need to figure out how I'm hoping to replace the system as it has gone to crap. I'd like to keep it hydraulic because of its uniqueness but haven't figure out all i need to replace it yet

Had a Caddy with those and tried to use them but gave up and went to electric.

i think im going to just switch them out with pneumatic ones, an maybe airbag my car later using the same compressor and such. now when i say airbag, im not going to drop it to the ground, just be able to lower it 4-5" when i want to make it stand out

Why try to reinvent the wheel. Just go electric and it will be a whole lot easier.

i had another idea, with the newer engine im going to have a power steering pump more than likely, so i may keep the windows hydraulic an run them off of the p/s pump as i plan on keeping the manual steering box

I know some Mercedes had those. Even the sun roof was hydraulic. That car was so heavy, it had dual calipers on the front end.

I passed on a early Caddy "truck" years back because it had those windows. That was B4 it was so easy to install elec windows. Always regret that because it was a really kool car/truck!!!
