I can pick up the cowl and back half real cheap no trunk deck. In my mind I see a pull trailer but I'm on the fence with what to do. I'm thinking a low deck open back motorcycle trailer or something like a popup travel trailer or just a cargo trailer. It isn't something I want or need, but It is something I could turn fast depending on the direction I go. So some input would be great on what a person would think I could do to get the best cool factor and maybe save it.

If you make a hauling trailer out of it, it will be difficult to get stuff in and out of. Same with the bike trailer - how easy would it be to get a bike in and out of?

Something like a tear drop camper would be your best bet if it's long enough. Don't even mess with the outside, steel clad and seal the inside. You might need the trunk lid though.

safe

put it on a good chassis or modify the one it has, put in a reliable power train, windshield and make safe(good brakes, steering, ETC) and drive the heck outta it.

Later

I like 'em rough! :D In my world that would get running with the challenge of doing it for next to nothing. Bolt the driver door shut. An old six from the junkyard. Good brakes and tires. Windshield. Let it sit out back every winter.
So fun [cl

I think I understand.[S

Whack the entire center... straight up from the trunk lines to the "forehead". Weld the doors shut, sheetmetal windows...

chop, chop, roll-back soft top.

I would save it....... usually dont turn down a good challenge!!! But I wouldn't turn it into a trailer. I would put it on a good frame and run it!!! Bullet holes and all.... might have to beat out the top a bit though.

Well there is no saving the whole car, the owner needs some of the parts and is selling off the rest of the good parts. Thats why I can only get some select parts, basicly I would build a trailer then hang the quarter off of that. DrC is real close on what I have in mind, just not so much of the car. If I went the cycle hauler route and don't go overboard I could have it rolling in a weeks time. Of course BH threw in truck conversion, maybe a truck bed?

21willys, Todd nailed it with the AMC, I'm not sure if it's for sale I would have to ask.
