I think I really have a rare condition if not the only case in the world, I'm addicted to scrap yards, not selling scrap but digging through the piles and buying. It is so bad that on a couple of instances where I have not shown up for 2 or 3 days they actually call me to see if I'm still alive or OK. Not kidding.

I've been painting a car and no time to go so yesterday (for the second time) one of the employees called to check up on me, then stopped over at my shop after work and took me to dinner (that part was a first, I usually take them).[cl

The first step to recovery is admitting it. However, I hear that in the final stages of it you have a tendency to post thousands of post on the internet. :D

Who said it was a sickness? Anyone who doesn't love treasure hunting are the ones with problems. Even my daughter who knows nothing about cars loves junkyards. :)

I use to work at a junk yard and I started bringing cars home that I thought were to nice for the junkyard. I rented a trailor in the middle of a bodyshop and my landlord told me I had to many cars around.I was surrounded by the bodyshops parkinglot full of cars and I had too many cars. Man I miss the junkyard. Now I have a house and my own little junk yard but you just made me feel like jumping in the pickup with some cash and heading to my favorite junkyard. thanks
