I take videos with my track phone ,, it takes decent videos but when I try to download them on my computer the sound does not transfer ... I have a Targus thinggy that I plug my card into out of my phone.. What is that thing called and how do I know if it will transfer sound if I ask for a better one ? Walmart people are nice , but they have no clue on what they have .. If I knew what it was called It would help on the search for a better one I guess its a reader ?

Do you know what format they are being recorded in? Check the extension of the file and see if it's an MPEG file or an MP4, etc (it should be something like filename.mpeg for example). and get back with me.

Windows Media Player should open that type of file. If some other program is opening it, close that program, right click on the file and choose "Open With" then choose Media Player. See if that works.

There is also a free app called VLC Media Player that is excellent for playing all sorts of video files. I've found sometimes that if a video file doesn't play quite right or not at all VLC works perfect. Google VLC download.
