ideas for rear tires/ 31 to 33 inches tall/8 to 12 inches wide/radials

l would like to run a 3l'' to 34'' tall radial tire any where from 8'' to l2'' wide on the rear of the 3O something dodge sedan.

l have l5 X 9 inch wheels to put then on.

light truck tires are all l can find and l don't like the tread styles, to aggressive and they are to stiff in the sidewall.

any ideas:confused:

Mickey Thompson should have something to fit the bill, the new sportsman S/R is a true radial, and offered in pretty tall sizes if I remember correctly.

Why radials? Bias tires will be easier to come by in the size range you are wanting and they will look WAY better on the car.

the front tires l have are radials.

my friend does scrap metal and old cars so l get a bunch of really nice tires for free and l have several sets to choose from that look barely used for the front and they are all radials.

being an a severe low budget, free is a good price.

mixing bias and radials is bad combo for the street.

hence the reason for radials.

l have a full set of convo pros with M/T tires, 18.5 X 33 X 15 sportman pros rears and 4 X 26 X 15 front runners but l plan to drive it a bunch and l don't think that is good combo for long distance driving.

Honestly, I don't think you will have an issue, the attitude of the truck will be more affected by the staggered widths than radial/bias ply with that combo in my humble opinion. I'll be running something similar on the street, 29x18.5 x 15 sportsman pros in the rear... and radials up front...

You running tubes I assume?

Tires

Hey Skull. You probably already know but have you looked at 85 series tires?
I am going to run 235X85/16s on the front of my COE. They are 31 inches tall. You can get various treads and widths. You may not like em but just a suggestion.
