I felt pretty spry when I got up an hour ago, after seeing this I feel the need to go back to bed.

I always feel old when I see something that I remember as new being called*an antique or vintage. Happens everytime I look in the mirror......
Torchie.

Why yes............. i believe i do remember most of that. The pace of change was considerably slower and pop music was enjoyable then.

I played with Jax and the ball I have skated on them skates which never were much good . and I have a pair on the wall in the garage right now :D I also remember the swinging jim or jungle jims .. but I never seen one on a truck or maybe they were moving it ,, that thing was hard to get it to go over . but once you got it to go it wasnt hard to keep it going (if your legs held out ) Yes I remember most of the people and shows .. I'm not old I just paid attention when I was in my early years . ha !! ha !!

still have a sled just like that one, don't know why , haven't used it in over fifty years

I'm from Ohio and I grew up playing on sleds and saucers , toboggans . When my family moved south we would have no need for a sled so we didnt bring them with us ,, About 12 years ago I visited my home town and bought a sled just like that one in the slide show from a fella for 10 bucks , he seen my tag from Alabama and he said , can I ask you something ? I said ok .. he said does it ever snow down there ,, I said about every 10 years or so and it dont last but a few days , He said What the heck are you going to do with a sled ????

I told him when it does snow I will be the only one in town with a way to play in the snow :D We have used it one time so far :):):)

Part of that is from the 60's, not the 50's. The ice cream truck is a 67 or later Ford. I remember an lot of the ads from old magazines. Know a lot of the faces, too. Is 55 old? Some days, yes! :)
