In my younger days MANY years ago. I fell in love with motorcycles and cars. Started riding mini bikes at ten and building my first car at 14. So in the early 60's choppers and bobbers (motorcycles) was my way to build. Older bikers in my area thought I completely nuts. They bad mouthed everything I built. They rode full dressers and that was the only way to build. I told myself that was just wrong. They did some good but didn't know it. To criticize someone else takes no thinking at all. To express your thoughts with constructive criticism is a different matter. I see many on some boards willing to throw whatever BS they can come up with at a fellow builder. I believe that does not encourage that person to build. It only leaves hurt feelings and bad opinions of other builders. There are no dumb questions only dumb answers. This board is a light in the darkness. To help others takes some thought and there's lots of thought on this board. And those old men that criticized me and others. They're still here on some of the boards with enough BS for everyone. Just keep building and offer others help if needed. For me it's like it says in the title I'm still trying.
