Well, I am looking for ideas or photos of grills that would compliment the front of the 48. I am staying with the parrallel front suspension just because it rides so good right now. Any ideas for a different grill setup? This is what she looks like now.

I'd put a Moon tank up there to fill that void, and call it good. Or maybe a sheet metal panel across the top to fill that area, punched full of louvers. Truck looks good IMO.:D

Myself, the only thing I would consider changing would be the front frame spreader bar to a narrower piece. Right now, it's wide enough and out there, that it's one of the first things that catch your eye. If it was a smaller/narrower piece, you would tend to look past it to the grill, engine, cab etc. In other words the rest of the truck. As it is, you kind of get hung on that wide cross frame.:)

You know, I think you guys might have hit on something. Maybe I'll try putting a narrower bar up front. It is 5" tal right now, and you are right, it is the first thing I see when I look at the truck. It really helped a lot when I widened the Mercedes grill by 4 1/2 " last week, and put the vertical bars in there. Before the grill was just too narrow on the vertical side.

What about actually putting an old, slim bumper on it. I like the idea of a mooneye tank too. Use that for the fuel side of the nitrous system! Truck does look good with your grill.

I do have an old stainless beer keg. I just wasn't sure if it would be too bulky sitting on the front end of the truck frame like that. I think I'll block it up there and see what it looks like. Photos later. Thanks guys.
