After a years search I obtained a windshield frame.

My first vision was to leave off the top part, but now that I have one I am leaning towards leaving the top of the frame on. I know what opinions are but if you guys and gals would care to put in your 2 cents worth fire away.

It would depend on what the overall look is you're going for, but I like ‘em without, chopped about half as high as what you got.

Okay dog, since you asked for opinions I'll offer mine. I would use the frame but I would slant the post back a few degrees and chop the windshield frame a bit.

Unless the frame is of the Hallock type with a center post, I like a full frame around the windshield. See, you already have two opposite opinions in as many replies.

CD,
I like it better without & I'm with Gastrick... depending on where it hits you while u're sittin' in it... I'd chop it down some! My windshield on the Daytripper hits me in the middle of the chest & is hell drivin' behind trucks or on roads with lots of sand & such... rain can b a problem too but I like the look! I have to wear glasses to drive. Just make sure it is held on securely though.

Not to b a bummer, just a small safety reminder... a good lookin' wealthy young couple were decapitated here years back doing around 100mph when the windshield of their roadster came loose. It literally cut both their heads off!!!

I wonder if you could graft on a pair of A winshield pillars from a roadster and use an A windshield

Sorry that I mentioned after looking at the first pic you posted that the posts should be leaned back. I see now that they already are. It looks good either way. I guess it's going to boil down to personal preference. I would like to see the posts chopped a bit. Again that's just my personal preference though.

Is that your shop dog? I want a tour:D

What was the question? Too busy checking out the goodies in the garage......Oh, my opinion is either, or. Probably great a better idea when the car is mocked up.
