Friend of mine is thinking about selling his 32' 3 window. He now wants to build a 38' Gasser. He asked me if he was sick. He just finished the car. Some of you may recall I sold my Biscayne and bought his 51' Gasser. He sold the Gasser to finance his dream 32'. The 32' has a 389 Pontiac with a 4 speed.

Do you get tired of your cars? It takes me about 5 years. Another friend of mine build his dream chopped 49' Merc. Nicest Merc I've ever seen. Took years to build but by the time he was finished, he was sick of it.

That is one wicked ride !!!

I wouldn`t say that I get sick of cars, but I have sold many just after completion. It usually has something to do with money. Either I really need money or someone offers me a lot of money for the car --- even though I wasn`t officially selling.

Gassersgarage,
Tell Groucho his car turned out lookin good.
As far as getting tired of a car, only when it has problems I can't fix.

Tired?

It appears the Groucho likes buildin' more than havin' & drivin'... nothin' wrong with that if that's what he likes to do. I'm sure he'll make $$$ & the car looks really good... someone will probably be really glad to have it!!!

Yeah, Groucho did a really good job on the Deuce. Very '60's. He seems to turn cars over fairly often from what I have seen, some people do that and have no regrets. Me, I think of them as Children and tend to keep them forever. I still agonize over the ones I had to sell over the years to pay for something or whatever.

Man he sure doesn't seem to keep them long. It seems like he just finished that 32. I've been known to sell them when they are finished but mostly to fund another project. Right now I just plan on keeping what I have and refining them. I'm a few years behind on the projects as it is.

He did that 32' in like 4 or 5 months. He used to have a shop called Camaro Street. He did a body off resto in 3 weeks for a client. I once sold him a 427 that was disassembled. I had just got the block back from the machine shop. He assembled the motor and put it in a 68' Camaro called "The Over the Hill Gang" and drove it to the street races that night....hes kinda hyper
