In the past when someone has asked a question about how to start a car club my reply has been to not do it...........the infighting, hassles, dealing with lots of different personalities, etc. I was President of a local club for a while and it plain wore me out. However, I have just witnessed the good side of a club and it was heartwarming to see.
As all of you know, Myron Boloyan Jr was killed last week in by a red light runner. He was laid to rest yesterday and the turnout by his fellow Poorboys was amazing. Evidently this is one club that is the exception to the rule. They seem to be an extremely tightknit group who look out for one another. You can tell from the comments they have posted that this tragedy has affected all of them, regardless of what chapter they are from. Hats off to them. I can't wait until I get to meet some of them at Billetproof so I can shake their hands.
Here are some pictures I borrowed from the HAMB that were posted of Myrons funeral. Rest in Peace Myron. I hope his family is doing as well as possible under circumstances that I can only imagine must be very tough on them.
