Jc Whitney ?

Has anyone ever bought brake parts from jc Whitney? They have a master cylinder for my 53 chevy for $136 with free shipping. Ive bought body panels from them years ago and was highly disappointed in the quality. Couldnt be no worse than autozone could it?

Never bought a thing from JC Whitney, so I don't know if they sell anything I want.

When I shop for parts, I don't shop strictly for price, but for quality (name brand) parts for a good price. I've found Rockauto to be a good source. I don't buy their cheapest parts, but I will buy a brand I know for a few dollars more. (My life is worth $20, my wife may disagree. )

Maybe i should stick to ecklers. Price is about the same but shipping is kinda high. Im gonna check rock auto. Thanks

It depends on the brand or how you search for car or truck parts over the web. I agree with "don't shop strictly for price, but for quality (name brand) parts for a good price." I try to read some reviews too when looking for parts online.
