1984 Buick Skylark r&p questions?

I was told that a 1984-87 Buick Skylark has a rack and pinion with a center take off and 7 inches of travel. This seems odd because wikepedia lists 1980-1985 as one generation with 86-91 being different.
1) Does anyone know if the rack and pinion from 84-87 Buick Skylark has 7" side to side throw?
2) Does anyone know if these are indeed center take off r&p?

yes buick skylark was the same chassis as a chevy cavilier. they had high rear mounted racks with center mounted tie rod ends.

Do you know if Skylarks r&p has the same side to side throw as a Cavaliers which was 6", or 7" travel like I was told?
